using technology as a platform for art. virtual exhibition - instagram exhibition. What does it mean to use technology to distribute your work, how does this change the meaning of your work, and how does this change how the audience see the work?
I will lose aspects such as texture - compromise?
People use techonology more and more
300 Million people on instagram, could never get that many people to visit an exhibition. Can't reach that many people without some platform of technology.
More people would happily view my work while sat at home in bed. Less likely to get enough interest to get them to a psychical setting.
Such a new and innovative and interesting idea will attract attention from lots of people. Even people who are not necessarily interested in art may visit this 'virtual exhibition' as it is so accessible.
